The Nevada Stateline-to-Stateline Bikeway Project is a joint proposal of local, state, and federal agencies with responsibilities on the Nevada side of the Lake Tahoe Basin.  The sponsoring agencies are Carson City, Douglas County, Incline Village General Improvement District, Nevada Division of State Parks, Nevada Division of State Lands, Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, Tahoe Transportation District, USDA Forest Service, and Washoe County. The Nevada Department of Transportation and the Washoe Tribe are partnering entities.  

The primary purpose of the Nevada Stateline-to-Stateline Bikeway Project is to provide non-auto transportation opportunities that link recreation areas, community centers, transportation facilities, and neighborhoods in the bikeway corridor to expand recreational access and transportation choices for residents and visitors to the Tahoe Basin.
